Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan mentioned this today, on January 16, at the final forum entitled "Promotion of Armenia-EU strategic partnership based on the experience of the Visegrad Quartet" organized by the Armenian Institute of International and Security Affairs.
"We think that the upcoming EU-Armenia partnership council will be marked by a very important agenda.
I believe that the next milestone of the Armenia-EU Partnership Council will be signaled by a similar important event, first by the adoption of a new agenda and a number of important decisions.
Substantive negotiations on visa liberalization have already been launched in December and this work will intensify in the coming months.
We will organize a number of visits to Brussels by our branch ministries, at the level of ministers, in order to further advance our sectoral cooperation," the deputy minister emphasized.
