The number of Palestinians killed as a result of the actions of the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip since the start of military operations in the enclave in October 2023 has exceeded 46,700.
"Since October 2023, the number of victims of Israeli aggression in Gaza has reached 46,707, and 110,265 have been injured," the department's summary says.
In the past 24 hours, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health, 62 Palestinians were killed and another 253 were injured as a result of Israeli shelling and bombing in the enclave.
