US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will visit the Republic of Korea, Japan and France on January 4-9. This is stated in the press service of the US State Department.
It follows that Blinken will "hold meetings with high-ranking officials" in the Republic of Korea, during which he plans to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as "contribute to a free, open and prosperous Indo-Pacific region".
In Japan, the head of the US foreign policy department plans to discuss "progress in allied relations" between the two countries, as well as a number of "bilateral, regional and international issues".
During contacts with representatives of the French leadership, Blinken expects to discuss "challenges in Europe, the Middle East and beyond," according to the document.
