A member of the Union of Writers of Armenia, composer Gevorg Hovannisyan passed away. The news is reported from the union. Gevorg Hovhannisyan was born in 1979 in Yerevan.
1984-1993 studied at the piano and composition departments of Sayat-Nova Music School in Yerevan. 1995-2000 studied at the composition department of Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas.
2000-2002 studied at the YEP postgraduate course.
2001-2009 worked in the symphony orchestra of the "Armen Akob" cultural union as an arranger and pianist. 1994-1997 worked for Al. in the State Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after Spendiaryan as the concertmaster of the ballet group.
