Kyiv city mayor Vitali Klitschko has met with one of the highest-grossing film directors and producers, Michael Bay, who arrived in Ukraine’s capital.
“Our city attracts an increasing number of artists, creative people from all over the world. The world-renowned stars shoot their videos and large international companies make commercials in Kyiv. Our city also becomes a film set. A good friend of mine, American film director and producer Michael Bay arrived in Kyiv. He is one of the world’s highest-grossing directors, whose movies hit more than $ 5.7 billion at the box office. He is known for such pictures as Armageddon, Bad Boys, Pearl Harbor, Transformers,” Klitschko wrote on Facebook.

According to him, Michael Bay and his team arrived to explore Kyiv and Ukraine as "the director is interested in shooting films and videos in the Ukrainian capital."

“We talked about the conditions for filmmaking in Ukraine, about the assistance of the city in organizing the filming, about the beautiful locations of Kyiv and the prospects for cooperation,” the mayor noted.
