The renewed partnership agreement between Russia and Iran will be signed in the near future, where great attention will be paid to defense issues, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
"The forthcoming agreement on comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and Iran will be a serious factor in strengthening Russian-Iranian relations.
The agreement will be ready in the near future. There, the desire of the parties to cooperate more closely in the field of defense and to cooperate for the benefit of peace and security at the regional and global levels will be confirmed," he said, speaking at the Minsk international conference dedicated to Eurasian security.
