Macon once again expects Armenia to reduce the benchmark in the Armenian-Azerbaijani talks. Political scientist Suren Surenyants wrote about this.
"The next slip of Makron. Whoever endangers the Armenian-French relations
Russia does not want to interfere in Armenia's internal affairs, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, referring to the developments in Armenia. "It is Armenia's internal affair," he added.
This is the position of official Moscow on domestic political events in Armenia, which, by the way, is based on international law.
And this is when one of the targets of Pashinyan's totalitarian aspirations is Russian citizen Samvel Karapetyan.
Moscow certainly makes efforts to eliminate its illegal detention, but it seems to do it with diplomatic channels and internal political intervention.
"I had a very good phone conversation with the Prime Minister of Armenia," said Emanuel Mcron on his X, then added. "I expressed the French solidarity against attempts to destabilize Armenian democracy."
According to international law, in particular the UN Charter, the states must not interfere in the internal affairs of other sovereign states.
The concept of "intervention" refers to the threat of use or real use, as well as direct actions, dictates of the election results, change of governments and demonstration support.
Just the action macron didn't do.
But when Macron does not support institutional democracy, but its open solidarity is reported to authoritarian policy of the authorities, it is no longer a neutral position. This is equivalent to the positioning of Armenia's in-public life.
Cases of political persecution in Armenia, the use of disproportionate force against peaceful protesters, the pressure on the courts, the state anti-propagation against the Church kills democracy, the defense of which macronizes the macron.
Makron's statement is also dangerous from the point of view of international ethics.
It is difficult not to notice that it actually legitimates the anti-democratic policy of the government, opening a way for new repressions.
Such a position of Macron, on the one hand, deepens our people's distrust towards democracy, on the other hand, the Armenian-French relations are in the shadows.
I have additional reasons to make such an assertion.
In his text, Macron noted other details about him and Pashinyan's telephone conversation.
The French President noted that during the conversation also reaffirmed his support for Pashinyan's "brave efforts to establish peace with Azerbaijan and normalize relations with Turkey."
"Peace and open borders will be important for the whole region and for example," it said. "
What parameters of "peace and open borders" hints at how Makronyan's mention of "Brave effort" does not suggest that Makron expects from Armenia to lower the benchmark in the Armenian-Azerbaijani talks.
But will it bring to real peace, to which we are all striving for the Armenians of the new National Disaster, in Prague, when Pashinyan, with the same macron and Michelle, lowered the bar, paving the way for the destruction of Artsakh.
And maybe the globalist West, France, supports all the domestic political ugliness of Pashinyan to make concessions in the talks with Azerbaijan.
Makron, perhaps, expects practical steps from Pashinyan, especially since the EU High Commissioner for Foreign Policy and Security is Yerevan. "
