Member of the Central Committee of the Armenian Democratic Party of Armenia, member of the Armenian National Assembly "Hayastan" faction, Kristine Vardanyanwrote.
"Dear young people, look at this image and remember it well.
This is not just an ordinary poster of the ruling party, this is a reflection of their thinking.
"There is no Armenia without Pashinyan"... Seriously?
This is the same script with which all the dictatorships in history were built, from Stalin to North Korea. When the state is identified with one person, it means only one thing: you, as a citizen, no longer exist.
Why should this not be given a vote?
• This is an insult to anyone's intelligence. They are trying to convince you that our nation, thousand-year history and our statehood depend on the whim of one individual.
• This is the end of freedom. Democracy means change of power. And this slogan openly declares: "I will remain forever, because without me you are nothing."
• This is a propaganda of slavery. The cruelest authoritarianism is hidden behind the "love" hearts and smiles. We are offered not a country, but a "sect" where criticism is betrayal and blind obedience is encouragement.
If you allow yourself to be brainwashed with this poison of "indispensability" today, tomorrow you will wake up in a country where your voice, your dreams and your rights are worth nothing compared to the leader's photo.
Reject the cult of personality. Reject the symbols of dictatorship."
