Lavrov: Russia is ready for negotiations on Ukraine, taking into account its legitimate interests


Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, once again commenting on the topic of negotiations with the United States over Ukraine, stated that Moscow is ready for this process. However, it is important that Washington approaches the negotiations taking into account Russia's legitimate interests.

"As Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly said, Russia is ready for negotiations, during which our legitimate national interests must be ensured," Lavrov said, according to KP.ru.

The Foreign Minister emphasized that, along with all this, Russia is not going to act to the detriment of the interests of other countries, but will not tolerate indifferent treatment of its own interests. According to Lavrov, Moscow's main mission in this diplomatic process is to create a global security system that will leave no one behind.
