The Italian League Party, which is part of the ruling coalition of the country, supported the idea of US President Donald Trump on the transfer of Palestinians from Gaza to Jordan.
"The League is closely following Donald Trump's proposals on Gaza and the Middle East, hoping that they can be formed to start a new phase of peace and prosperity," the party said.
Earlier, Trump said during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which could be resettled in different countries, including Jordan and Egypt, adding that the United States will "control" the Gaza Strip and will be responsible for work in the region.
