In the third round of the voting, the Greek parliament could not elect the President of the country, 3/5 votes from the total number of deputies (the 4th round will take place on February 12).

"No candidate was able to collect the majority needed to be elected by the regulations. The next vote on the presidential election will take place in five days, that is, on February 12, at 10:00, "he said.
Constantinos Tenasi, a member of the former chairman of the parliament and a member of the ruling New Democracy, received 160 votes in the first two stages of the voting.
PASOK candidate Tasos Janisis received 34 votes, Luca Stady from Siriza, which was supported by 40 votes, writer Costas Kiraki, 14 votes. Candidates received as many votes in the first two stages.
