"While discussing the latest developments in Syria with the President of Iran, we emphasized that Russia is committed to a comprehensive settlement based on respect for Syria's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity," the Russian leader said. Putin noted that Russia is ready to continue providing support to the Syrian people and to allocate humanitarian aid until the situation in the country is completely restored.
