Blinken announced to allocate an additional 2 billion dollars to Ukraine for military needs

The US plans to provide Ukraine with an additional $2 billion in military funding through a new defense industry fund. This was announced by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken at a joint press conference with Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba in Kyiv.

"I would like to add that we will provide an additional $2 billion [to Ukraine] through the new defense industry fund," Blinken was quoted as saying by the TASS agency.

The US Secretary of State also announced at the press conference that the United States and Ukraine will sign a bilateral security agreement within a few weeks.

"We will sign the agreement in a few weeks," he said.
