The RA Criminal Court of Appeal has recognized the arrest of businessman Samvel Karapetyan. This was reported by the businessman's defender.
The court confirmed that on June 18 2025, Samvel Karapetyan's arrest was illegal, as a result of which Samvel Karapetyan was illegally stored in prison. Thus, the Criminal Court of Appeal has approved another series of illegalities in this criminal proceedings, the fact that Samvel Karapetyan's illegal arrest will be illegally and unfounded.
Meanwhile, it should be noted that the Court of First Instance (Judge Artak Karapetyan) did not touch upon this important factor of arrest.
