The professional group of RA humanitarian demining and medical workers has returned to Armenia from Aleppo. Ministry of Defense

In recent days, the operational situation in a number of regions of the Syrian Arab Republic has sharply escalated, and active military operations have begun, due to which the normal activity of the professional group of humanitarian demining and medical workers of the Republic of Armenia, which has been carrying out a mission in the Aleppo region of the Syrian Arab Republic since 2019, has become impossible.

This is reported by the RA Ministry of Defense.

Considering the situation, it was decided to temporarily suspend the group's activities in Aleppo.

Late in the evening of November 29, the entire staff of the professional group of RA humanitarian demining and medical workers returned to Armenia on a military transport plane of the RA Defense Ministry.
