About 700 Armenian trucks are piled up near the "Verin Lars" checkpoint of the Russian-Georgian border, Sputnik Armenia reports, referring to the North Ossetia Road Traffic Organization Center.
The Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars international highway was closed for trucks on November 25 due to snow.
On November 26, the road was closed in both directions for all vehicles. As of this hour, a total of 2,231 vehicles are waiting to cross the checkpoint, 688 of which are Armenian.
