There are areas that were once leased by Yerevan Municipality, but these areas are public common use areas. Mayor Tigran Avinyan said this today, November 18, during the regular session of the Yerevan Municipality.
"There should not be buildings in those areas, but there should be green zones, places for walking. I am glad that I have already learned that some areas, taking into account the rental price, are returning to the Yerevan Municipality.
I want to inform you that we will most likely demolish the buildings in the area adjacent to the Opera House and get a greener and common area accessible to people," Tigran Avinyan emphasized.
