Australia will host the international air exercise Pitch Black 2026, involving troops from 19 countries in the northern part of the continent, involving more than 100 aircraft. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the country.
The exercises will be held from July 20 to August 7, in which the military of Brunei, Great Britain, India, Indonesia, Spain, Canada, Malaysia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Korea, Singapore, USA, Thailand, Fiji, Philippines, Finland, France, Sweden and Japan will participate.
As noted by the Department of Defense, Pitch Black is the Royal Australian Air Force's largest international exercise.
