The US and Iran will sign the peace agreement on June 19 in Switzerland

The United States and Iran will sign a peace agreement on Friday, June 19 in Switzerland, the mediator of negotiations between the two countries, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif, announced on his Facebook page on the evening of Sunday, June 14.

He thanked both sides for their "commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict" and thanked Qatar for its mediation, as well as Saudi Arabia and Turkey "for their enormous contribution to this issue."

"Now that the agreement has been reached, the mediators will hold a series of meetings this week.

These discussions, before the implementation of the agreement, will lay the foundation for technical negotiations and the official signing ceremony," Sharif concluded.
