German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is preparing a handwritten letter and special gift for US President Donald Trump's 80th birthday on June 14, according to Der Spiegel.
"Next Monday, Mertz will personally present the gift to the US president at the G7 summit in Evian, France, on the shores of Lake Geneva. The details of the gift have not been published yet," the text reads. On June 14, the birthday of US President Donald Trump, a UFC event will take place on the territory of the White House.
Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, did not confirm a possible call from Vladimir Putin to congratulate Donald Trump on his birthday.
