The US armed forces disabled another commercial ship on its way to an Iranian port, the Associated Press (AP) reported, citing sources.
The Gambian-flagged cargo ship Lian Star allegedly ignored several warnings from the US military, after which they launched airstrikes to disable the ship.
US servicemen did not board the cargo ship. The agency reports that it is now floating in the Gulf of Oman.
The U.S. Central Command previously reported that since the naval blockade of Iran began on April 13, four merchant ships have been disabled and 115 merchant ships have been diverted.
