In Moscow, a five-year-old child fell from the window of a ninth-floor apartment and was hospitalized, the press service of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office reports.
"A small child fell from the window of the apartment on the 9th floor of the Student Proyezd residential building. The boy born in 2021 was hospitalized. According to preliminary information, the mother left the child unattended for a short time, left the apartment, the child approached the window, climbed onto the windowsill and fell," the report states.
"We appeal to the parents again. Do not leave children unsupervised in a room where a window is open or where there is even a slight chance that a child will be able to open it on their own. "Do not place furniture near the windows so that children cannot climb on the windowsill or approach the open window," the supervisory body warned.
A judicial investigation is being conducted on the incident.
