The US and Iran, within the framework of the preliminary agreement, have agreed to fully open the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days, the Washington Post reports, citing an unnamed diplomat.

"After signing the memorandum of understanding, Iran will immediately open the Strait of Hormuz and take steps to ensure that traffic returns to pre-war conditions within 30 days," the publication writes.
