The headquarters of the Romanian Navy announced that the naval personnel of six NATO countries are participating in the Opex-26 (Operational Test) international exercise of autonomous maritime unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched in the Black Sea.
International exercises aimed at testing naval unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are taking place from May 18-29 at the Mangalia military port and in several regions of the Black Sea, the statement said.
Bulgaria, Canada, Portugal, Romania, the USA and Turkey, as well as representatives of the companies that manufacture civil marine drones, are taking part in the exercises.
