"Publication". There is a shortage of "bracelets".

"Hraparak" newspaper writes:

"We learned from our sources in the legal community that there is a crisis of electronic "bracelets" in Armenia now.

We are talking about the use of alternative means of disruption, which is effective in 2023. from January 1. Similar "bracelets" are put on the legs of those under house arrest and administrative control regime for control. There are so many people under house arrest now that these devices are doing little. According to official data, their number exceeds 1,200.

Now, the number of devices is not enough for all those who have been placed under house arrest or administrative control as a preventive measure, so some have been allowed to go home, but have not been given "bracelets".

However, the whole irony is that those "sitting" at home are warned that the term of house arrest will be counted from the moment when the "bracelet" is released, and it will be spent on the victim's leg.

In other words, if, by chance, a two-month house arrest is imposed on a person, but the "bracelet" is given to him one month late, it turns out that he will stay in that regime for three months, because the period will be counted after the "bracelet" is issued, but the person was under house arrest during that time.
