The authorities of Armenia are still avoiding the issue of the modular nuclear power plant and do not give a clear answer to whom they will entrust the construction of the nuclear power plant. After the signing of the agreement, US Vice President JD Vance announced in Yerevan that Armenia and the United States have completed negotiations on civil nuclear cooperation. After that, the RA authorities continued to claim that they are negotiating with the USA, RF, France, and South Korea regarding the nuclear power plant. According to our source, the RA government is not particularly inclined to the option of the US building a nuclear power plant.
