"Hraparak" newspaper writes:
"Last Sunday, Pashinyan did not go to mass, but they went to the party campaign on the "happy bus" of CP. In fact, they were engaged in pre-election campaigning at the expense of the state budget. According to the information that reached us, the leader of Kotayk diocese, Archbishop Arakel Karamyan, has given up the idea of fighting against the church.
We called the head of the diocese and asked him to answer several questions. "Don't ask questions during this fasting period, let me bless you and your family, rest in peace," he said and hung up the phone and our calls remained unanswered.
The leaders who have reneged on their promise and joined Pashinyan's church "reformation" plan are perhaps beginning to realize that Pashinyan has lost the fight against the Armenian Church, the majority of the clergy and the Armenian people are on the side of the Church, so it is not excluded that some bishops will "repent" in their decisions in the near future.
