"Hraparak" newspaper writes:
"According to our information, Ter Hovna, leader of the Armenian Western Diocese of the USA, is following the path of Archbishop Terteryan, along with several other bishops from Tiradav. Most of them repented and realized that they made a fatal mistake. But the situation of Vrtanes Bishop Abrahamyan, leader of Artsakh Diocese, is especially deplorable.
After joining Pashinyan, he came under such public shame and pressure that he even turned to some Artsakh residents and even to Father Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, the abbot of Dadivank, asking them to intercede for him, to convince the Artsakh residents that he is not a traitor, so that they would not persecute him less.
Our source says that Ter Hovhannes, who was once the leader of Ter Vrtanes, rejected him, saying that his action was unforgivable and he could not support him in any way.
It is known that the political and social circles of Artsakh appealed to His Holiness with the demand to change the diocesan leader. In this case, the problem takes on almost comical tones, because this is the only case that in case of disbanding the archdiocese leader, the RA judicial system will not restore him to his position, because Nikol Pashinyan deleted the word "Artsakh" and made a decision to dissolve all the structures of Artsakh, so he will not risk restoring the archdiocese leader of Artsakh, so as not to anger Aliyev.
According to our information, the Mother See, girded by the statement of the Episcopal Assembly and the impulses coming from the diaspora, will soon take more concrete steps.
