"Fact" daily writes:
It is not a secret for anyone that Nikol Pashinyan aims to disrupt the Episcopal Assembly, be it in Armenia or Austria, as the Mother See announced earlier. To remind, once in Armenia, the Episcopal Assembly was disrupted as a result of the political repressions of the current authorities. After that, the Mother See announced that the Episcopal Assembly will be held in St. Pölten, Austria, from February 16 to 19, at the invitation of the Catholicos of All Armenians.
In order to disrupt the meeting, or at least to hold it in Armenia, criminal proceedings were initiated against six bishops and one priest on the instructions of Pashinyan, and an absence ban was applied for all of them, so as not to allow their participation. Currently, the Mother See is still discussing whether to hold the meeting in Austria or, in any case, in Armenia.
Moreover, if, in the end, it is decided that even under these conditions the meeting should be held in Austria, according to our sources, Pashinyan has thought of a new provocation in this scenario as well. In particular, they have decided to send to Austria the bishops who have gone to Pashinyan's side, who will organize a show on the spot, incite provocations in order to disrupt the Assembly. Earlier, among the dozen Tiradav bishops who joined Pashinyan, only Archbishop Hovhan Terteryan, leader of the Western Diocese of the USA, announced that he would participate in the Episcopal meeting to be held in St. Pölten.
Pashinyan intends to send three more bishops to Austria, the excommunicated Arman (Gevorg) Saroyan, Navasard Kchoyan and Arakel Karamyan, with clear assignments and "instructions" on how they should behave in Austria and what they should do to disrupt the Assembly. According to our source, it was even decided that they will send employees of special services and undercover officers, including deputies of the faction, to protect their tyrants on the spot.
According to the newspaper, the other day Pashinyan himself gathered the bishops and priests in Armenia, instructed them to be more active, to give interviews to various official media, to discredit and discredit the Catholicos of All Armenians.
And those clergymen were forced to listen to Pashinyan and follow his instructions under the pressure of government officials.
