The CP made a decision regarding Rustam Bakoyan. "Publication"

"Hraparak" daily writes:

In 2015 According to the Constitution, the presence of national minorities living in Armenia is mandatory in the National Assembly. The Electoral Code stipulates that "the representatives of the first 4 national minorities with the largest permanent population according to the data of the last census before the elections are included in the second part of the nationwide electoral list of the party, alliance of parties".

The electoral list, according to the law, consists of 2 parts, the first is the big list, where up to 300 candidates can be included, the second is for national minorities. The same point says: "from each national minority... no less than 2 representatives and no more than 4 representatives should be included in the second part".

According to our information, the CP has decided to take Rustam Bakoyan, a representative of the Yazidi community, to the National Assembly.

Bakoyan is currently performing the duties of the chairman of the Permanent Commission on Human Rights and is more "catholic" than CP in various controversial topics, and it is natural that these services are appreciated.
