"Hraparak" daily writes:
The CP majority in the National Education, Science and Culture Committee yesterday approved the draft of amendments to the "Audiovisual Media" law, which includes dangerous changes.
According to them, it will be prohibited in audio-visual programs to spread information containing propaganda of war, violence and cruelty, to incite national, racial, sexual, religious hatred, to incite discrimination based on disability, personal or social characteristics, or to spread information with such a purpose, to spread pornography, to spread calls for criminally punishable or other acts prohibited by law, to spread criminal subculture propaganda. and broadcasting of audiovisual programs.
It should be noted that these acts are already criminally punishable, so there was no point in including them in the law on audiovisual media. Obviously, this is done with a dark purpose to limit the freedom of TVs. Another dangerous provision is being introduced: to prohibit the dissemination of content that interferes with the internal political life of RA by foreign programs, which will also be interpreted arbitrarily.
