The RA Prime Minister's Office reports that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the delegation led by General Anil Chauhan, Chief of the Defense Staff of the Indian Armed Forces in the Republic of Armenia, on an official visit.
"The Prime Minister welcomed Anil Chauhan's visit to Armenia and expressed his belief that it will give a new impetus to the continuous development of relations between Armenia and India. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the fact of centuries-old historical warm relations between the two countries and noted that even today there is an active dialogue in various directions.
The Chief of the Defense Staff of the Indian Armed Forces expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality and added that they had fruitful discussions with their Armenian colleagues in order to promote further cooperation.
The interlocutors touched on issues related to further cooperation in the field of defense and security," the message said.
