The Peace Council cannot bring peace to the Middle East because it intends to impose an American-Israeli solution to the detriment of the creation of a Palestinian state. American economist, director of the Center for Economic Development at Columbia University in New York, Professor Jeffrey Sachs, stated this in an interview with TASS.
"The Peace Council has nothing to do with peace at all. It serves the manipulations of US President Donald Trump and will hinder peace by trying to impose an American-Israeli solution, harming the creation of a Palestinian state," the analyst emphasized.
In response to a question about the possibilities of the Peace Council to solve the Palestinian issue, Sachs stated that "there is only one reasonable way possible" - to immediately admit Palestine to the United Nations, around June 4, 1967.
