The strengthening of the US military presence in the Gulf of Oman will be completed in the coming days, the Axios portal reports, referring to the sources of the American administration.
"At the moment, the case is in the preparation stage, but everything leads to the fact that President Donald Trump will make another decision on the issue of Iran in the next few days," an American official told the portal.
As part of strengthening the US military presence, the group of the USS Abraham Lincoln attack aircraft carrier has already arrived in the region, as well as squadrons of F-15 and C-17 military transport aircraft.
Previously, Trump announced that a huge fleet is moving towards Iran. He expressed his hope that Tehran will conclude a "fair and equal" agreement, which implies a complete "renunciation of nuclear weapons".
The American leader reminded that in June of last year, the USA struck the yard facilities of the Islamic Republic, this operation was named "Midnight Hammer". Trump noted that "the next attack will be more dangerous" and called "not to let it happen".
