Any adventure against Iran will bring serious losses for the United States, said Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayari.

"We have the ability to harm the enemy. And they perfectly understand that any adventure will bring serious losses," Sayari said, Fars news agency quoted him as saying.

He added that the United States is trying to scare the Islamic Republic with announcements about sending significant American forces to the Middle East, but the Iranian army is "fully ready to defend its country's territorial integrity, independence and political order."
