Before his re-election, US President Donald Trump was not aware of the existence of the wars, the end of which he announced after returning to power. He announced this in an interview on the "Sid and Friends" radio program broadcast on the WABC TV channel, "RIA Novosti" reports.
"During the campaign, I did not know that there are eight wars. I didn't even think about it, but in the end I ended eight wars," said Trump.
He also expressed an opinion that nothing like this happened in the first year of the office of any previous US president. The American leader added that his administration, in particular, achieved the largest tax and bureaucracy reductions in history.
To remind, at the Davos forum, Trump announced that he resolves one conflict per month on average. The conflicts it pledged to end include Israel and Hamas, Israel and Iran, Armenia and Azerbaijan, India and Pakistan, Serbia and Kosovo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, Cambodia and Thailand, Egypt and Ethiopia. He also plans to end the ninth war, the conflict in Yemen.
The US president has also repeatedly stated that the end of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is close. During the pre-election campaign, he promised to finish it within 24 hours.
