Sunday (January 25) is the last day the pandas will be on display before they return to China. The winners of the lottery held from December 21 to January 7 had the opportunity to see the animals.

It was reported that so many people wanted to see the pandas that not all visitors were able to see them on Sunday.

It was reported earlier that due to the escalation of tensions between Beijing and Tokyo, Japanese zoos will be without pandas for the first time in 54 years. The conflict arose from the Japanese Prime Minister's announcement that Tokyo would deploy self-defense forces if China tried to invade Taiwan by force.

Currently, there are two panda twins in Japan, which were leased from China. The signing of a new lease agreement seems highly unlikely due to the political situation.
