The US Department of Homeland Security has announced that the authorities will revoke the Temporary Protected Persons (TPP) status for refugees from Somalia in accordance with the directive of President Donald Trump.

According to ABC News sources, this applies to 2,400 Somalis living in the country.

As the TV channel reported, another 1,400 Somalis are waiting for their applications for Temporary Protected Persons (TPP) status to be reviewed. Somali nationals with this status until March 2026
