Europe called for an army of 100,000 men

The European Union needs to create its own armed forces, which will comprise at least 100,000 personnel. This should replace the US troops that Washington intends to withdraw from Europe. European Commissioner for Defense and Space Affairs Andrius Kubilius made this call, BNS reports.

"The 100,000 American troops should be replaced by the same number of EU troops," Kubilius believes. He also added that a body responsible for security issues should be created. According to the commissioner, it may include permanent members and rotating members.
