Units of the Pakistani and US armed forces have launched a joint counter-terrorism exercise, "Inspired Gambit 2026".

This was announced by the Interdepartmental Public Relations Department of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic.

The two-week exercise is being held at the National Counter-Terrorism Center in Pabbi, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, in northwestern Pakistan.

According to the press release, the aim of the exercises is to strengthen the operational compatibility of the armed forces of the two countries, as well as to exchange experience in carrying out anti-terrorist operations.

It is noted that special attention will be paid to the use of combat skills in densely populated urban areas.
