Iran's military intends to protect public property from riots

The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran has announced its readiness to "protect strategic infrastructures and public property by force" from riots, according to the press service of the Iranian Army.

It states that "the enemy, with the support of the criminal Zionist regime (meaning Israel) and hostile terrorist groups, is trying to disrupt the order and peace of the cities and destabilize the public security of the country."

"The enemy, whose hands are stained with the blood of this nation's children in the 12-day war, is trying to incite another uprising under the false pretext of supporting the Iranian people," Iran's state broadcaster said in a statement.

"The army and armed forces under the command of the Commander-in-Chief, in addition to controlling the enemy's actions in the region, will actively protect the national interests, the country's strategic infrastructure and public property," the statement emphasized.
