London has allocated funds to prepare for the possible deployment of troops to Ukraine

Great Britain has allocated 200 million pounds (about 270 million dollars) to prepare for the possible deployment of troops to Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain.

"The Secretary of State for Defense (UK's John Healy) has confirmed that £200 million has been allocated for this year and will be used to prepare for any deployment of multinational forces to Ukraine to upgrade vehicles, 'communications systems, anti-aircraft systems and additional troop protection equipment to ensure the force is ready to deploy if needed,'" the Ministry of Defense said in a statement published on the UK government's website.

According to the document, the funds are allocated from the kingdom's main defense budget and are intended to send a signal to Britain's allies and adversaries, particularly about London's intention to lead a multinational force in Ukraine.
