Adam Kadyrov, assistant to the head of the Chechen Republic and secretary of the regional security council, promised to bring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Grozny as a war criminal. He made this statement on Instagram, commenting on the Ukrainian leader's call to kidnap his father, Ramzan Kadyrov.
"We will find you everywhere, it's only a matter of time. <...> And we will bring you here to Grozny. Not as a president, but as a war criminal. And you will stand not on the stage, but on the ground that you tried to insult. You will hug and kiss the shoes and ask for forgiveness," wrote the son of the Chechen leader.
Adam Kadyrov added that Zelensky's time "will end soon". He said that when this happens, the leader of Ukraine "will regret every word he said".
