The EU reacted to the "Oreshnik" attack on Ukraine

In response to Russia's launch of a Russian ballistic missile "Oreshnik" towards Ukraine, Head of Eurodiplomacy Kaya Kalas called for new sanctions against Russia. The Vice President of the European Commission announced this on X social network.

"EU countries should increase their stocks of anti-aircraft weapons and start implementing their plans immediately. We also need to increase the price of this war for Moscow, including at the expense of tightening sanctions," Kalas said.

He added that he considers the use of "Oreshnik" an obvious escalation against Ukraine and is meant to warn Europe and the USA. According to Kalas, Russian leader Vladimir Putin does not seek peace.
