The Iranian army and the IRGC are in a state of full combat readiness

Brigadier General Morteza Ghorbani, senior adviser to the Commander-in-Chief of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), stated that Iran's armed forces are at the highest level of combat capability and are ready to resolutely respond to any aggression by the United States or Israel, Mehr Agency reports.

Speaking about the degree of Iran's readiness to respond to a possible attack by the United States or Israel, Brigadier General Morteza Ghorbani noted that 400 units of the IRGC and the army are in a state of full combat readiness.

"They are ready. If any aggression happens, they will raze it [Israel] to the ground," Ghorbani said.

He added that the army, IRGC and law enforcement agencies are in "full combat readiness" with their hands on the trigger.

"I am proud to announce that the army, IRGC and police forces are fully prepared," he said, stressing that this level of restraint and force stems from the legacy, name and path of the martyred General Qassem Soleimani. Earlier on Tuesday, Iran warned that continued hostilities against the country would lead to a tough and proportionate response.
