Tusk, on behalf of all of Europe, supported Denmark over Greenland

Denmark can count on the solidarity of the entire Europe in the issue of Greenland, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk told reporters on his way to Paris for the "coalition of the willing" meeting.

After the action against Venezuela, US President Donald Trump stated in an interview with the Atlantic magazine on January 4 that the US also needs Greenland, because the Danish island is supposedly surrounded by Chinese and Russian ships.

After that, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen called on Trump to stop threatening Greenland.

In turn, Katie Miller, the wife of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, published a photo on the X social network on January 4 with a map of Greenland colored in the colors of the American flag and the inscription "coming soon".

In response, Danish Ambassador to Washington Jesper Møller Sørensen reminded that Denmark and the United States are close allies.
