The US can subsidize the participation of oil companies in the reconstruction of Venezuela's energy infrastructure, US President Donald Trump said in an interview with NBC News.
The TV channel notes that the American leader believes that this may last less than 18 months.
"I think we can do it in less time than this, but it will require significant financial costs. It will require spending a huge amount of money, and the oil companies will spend it, and then they will be reimbursed from us or from their profits," Trump said.
