WSJ. Trump hinted at changes in American companies a month before the operation in Venezuela

A month before the US attack on Venezuela, US President Donald Trump signaled to some oil companies that big changes are coming in the Bolivarian Republic. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) on Monday.

According to him, about a month before the military operation, the head of the White House told the heads of several American oil companies to "be ready" for major changes expected in Venezuela. Trump did not reveal the details of the American administration's plans.

On January 3, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Ivan Gil Pinto announced that the United States had attacked civilian and military targets in Caracas. He described Washington's actions as military aggression. A state of emergency was declared in Venezuela.
