We do not mourn the end of Maduro's regime. Prime Minister of Great Britain

Great Britain has long supported the change of power in Venezuela, according to the statement of the Prime Minister of the country, Keir Starmer.

"We consider Maduro an illegitimate president and we do not mourn the end of his regime. This morning I reiterated my support for international law.

The UK government will discuss the developing situation with US partners in the coming days as we seek a safe and peaceful transition to a legitimate government that reflects the will of the Venezuelan people," Starmer's statement emphasized.

Earlier, the British Prime Minister announced that London had nothing to do with the arrest of the Venezuelan president.
