On December 30, the Eastern Zone Combat Command of the People's Liberation Army will conduct large-scale military exercises, including live fire, in five sea areas and airspace near Taiwan, Xinhua reported.
According to the notification, the exercise will take place from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm local time. The command has released the exact coordinates of the five exercise zones located in the Taiwan Strait, East China Sea, South China Sea and Philippine Sea.
For security reasons, any unauthorized ships and aircraft are advised to refrain from entering the designated water areas and airspace during the firing period.
